Chiva Kid d. The Big O, 41-19Okay, now, it's time for today's matchups! We head to the Berwyn Eagles Club region, the top half of the bracket. And we kick off with the number one overall seed, #1 CM Punk takes on the winner of the first play-in from yesterday, #16 Chiva Kid. CM Punk spent most of last year as WWE Champion, and now, he's moving onto the biggest game of them all, The Undertaker. Chiva Kid, after defeating The Big O, looks to knock off Punk. He's got the Ultra J Title in tow, but will that be enough? Next up, it's #8 Dolph Ziggler taking on #9 BJ Whitmer. Ziggler has had a sometimes rough year, but his resume includes a Money in the Bank briefcase and wins over both Chris Jericho and John Cena on pay-per-view. Whitmer's grand comeback this year has included big feuds in Ring of Honor and AAW in addition to the Intense Championship in AIW.
Izzie Deadyet d. John McChesney, 32-22
Mark Henry d. Tucor, 61-7
Amazing Kong d. Pierre Abernathy, 49-19
Today's third match pits #4 Robert Roode against #13 MsChif. Roode was riding high with the TNA World Championship until he was upended by his current tag team partner, Austin Aries. Since then, he's kept it strong, continuing to be a force to be reckoned with in Impact Wrestling. MsChif's still terrifying opponents in SHIMMER as well as breaking barriers in AAW and other various promotions around the Midwest. She's also the centerpiece of the Women of Honor right now. Finally, the SHIMMER Champion #5 Saraya Knight does battle with #12 Jay Briscoe. Briscoe brings the redneck kung fu wherever he goes, and he's just coming off his record eighth reign with the ROH Tag Team Championships. However, will that be enough to take out the fire-maned banshee from across the pond, whose cantankerous nature has netted her the SHIMMER Title and a reputation of wasting anyone in her path, wrestler, fan, or otherwise?
