Here's the second part of the first round matches for the Berwyn Eagles Club region, but first, here are the results from yesterday:
#1 CM Punk d. #16 Chiva Kid, 76-7
#8 Dolph Ziggler d. #9 BJ Whitmer, 70-11
#4 Robert Roode d. #13 MsChif, 47-30
#5 Saraya Knight d. #12 Jay Briscoe, 42-35
And now, it's time for today's matchups! First up, #2 Sheamus, here on the strength of his World Championship run from last year, will do battle with the Rampage Pro Champion, #15 AJ Steele. Sheamus has brute power, a Brogue Kick, and a willingness to fight anywhere. However, Steele leads the Black Out, featuring some angry cohorts who'll help him out if needed. Even if there's no interference, this could very well be a certified hoss fight. Next up, #7 Athena, an at-large bid who busted out huge in SHIMMER, WSU, and continued to hold serve in ACW, will take on an old foe in #10 Nicole Matthews. Matthews and her partner Portia Perez took back the SHIMMER Tag Team Championships in Montreal, but she's also forged an impressive singles path as well, which includes a victory over Athena in SHIMMER. However, the Hussy Buster has racked up a very impressive resume herself with wins over Mercedes Martinez and Ray in SHIMMER, a Queen of Queens Tournament title and the U-30 Championship in ACW, and the best finisher in wrestling right now.

Our third match will pit #3 Alberto del Rio against #14 Shane Hollister. del Rio is the automatic bid out of WWE for being their World Heavyweight Champion. He's been impressive of late with big victories over The Big Show among others, and his new, friendly disposition has gotten him a lot of fan support. However, Hollister has had a big year himself, taking the Midwest indies and CZW by storm with his high-flying style and willing manager to interfere in matches in Scarlett Bordeaux. Finally, #6 Sami Callihan will battle the ACW Anarchy Champion, #11 Evan Gelistico. While Callihan doesn't have the gold to back up his resume, he's still a frenetic ball of destruction who captivates any crowd he goes in front of. Will that matter against the most deviously prickish member of the Submission Squad?

Keep them votes rollin' in!
