#1 Kevin Steen d. #16 Courtney Rush, 73-16Alright, time to get the second half of the Reseda bracket underway. First up, #2 Austin Aries will take on #15 Jaykus Plisken. Both are at-large bids who spent a good chunk of time as top Champion in their home promotions. Aries has speed and panache, while Plisken has brawn and a whole Takeover at his backing. Next up, #7 Cheerleader Melissa battles #10 James Storm. Melissa started the year as SHIMMER Champion, but despite losing her title, she's still clamped down at the top of the women's scene. Storm is a bit in limbo right now, but he still bested Robert Roode at their big blowoff match at Bound for Glory.

Next up, #3 El Generico battles #14 Kyle Matthews. Generico, now unmasked in NXT, still stormed the indies in the last year. Matthews made a big name for himself in the South, including winning the Rampage Pro Championship and Television Championship. Finally, #6 The Rock will go up against #11 Wade Barrett. The WWE Champion will look to prove that he's worthy of his title and seed despite his part-time status. RED BELLY will be no easy task for him.
