Wrestling and baseball aren't the first bedfellows one thinks of in sports and entertainment, but then again, the art has welcomed in America's pastime into its halls in both dubious and sublime results. Whether it be Pete Rose showing up to get tombstoned by Kane, WWE superstars engaging in softball shenanigans before SummerSlam, Ring of Honor and Global Force Wrestling invading minor league baseball stadiums, or, *groan* Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz... okay, Dasher Hatfield, the baseball diamond and wrestling have crossed paths. The San Diego Padres decided they were going to honor that partnership in their own way.
The team Photoshopped the faces of its starting lineup onto the bodies of classic WWE superstars of the '80s and '90s. Matt Kemp, shown above, drew Bret Hart, while others in this Imgur gallery, adorned the bodies of Junkyard Dog, Koko B. Ware, Shawn Michaels, and the Big Boss Man for example. Of course, it would be nice if the Padres weren't moribund right now, but hey, you take what you can get.
