Tony Nese, Human Missile

Last night's RAW main event felt flat in terms of booking and story advancement. The announcers promised that this neverending feud between Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt would finally "come to a head" even though it had several situations before, starting at Elimination Chamber 2014 with the first Wyatt Family/Shield match. That "final battle" turned out to be a double disqualification featuring the same kind of parity bullshit that saw both guys get heat on each other with big spots. The spot will probably set up a Hell in a Cell match between the two at the titular pay-per-view event. Yawn.

However, the actual brawl that came out of the double countout was pretty rad. It involved Reigns spearing Wyatt through a table after Wyatt tackled Reigns through a barricade. But the best spot had to have been when Wyatt grabbed a "production assistant" and tossed him as a human projectile at Reigns. Check out the .gif:

I thought the human missile looked familiar, and intrepid Twitter user @DeathToAllMarks confirmed that he is indeed Tony Nese, he of New York City indie and EVOLVE/Dragon Gate USA fame. It's not the first time an indie star has taken on an anonymous role on RAW to take a bump, and it won't be the last. However, I'd say Nese's role last night involved the gnarliest bump I've seen from someone not contracted to WWE.
