The all-European version of #RAWlternative was announced for November 9, and the first promotion announced for the guerrilla YouTube broadcast was a doozy. But if Progress Wrestling wasn't enough to get you on board, the next seven promotions may get your wrestling spidey-sense tingling. Most of the promotions revealed are located in the United Kingdom, but England, Wales, and Scotland have such a vibrant wrestling scene that the lack of diversity may not be that big of a deal. Anyway, the next seven companies up are as follows:
  • Fight Club Pro - This Wolverhampton-based promotion sent over Moustache Mountain and Dan Moloney to King of Trios this year.
  • Preston City Wrestling - A favorite of Friend of the Blog and WRESTLEGASM's sidekick Andrew Southern, PCW boasts an active competitor and alumni list that includes Kris Travis, Marty Scurll, and Will Ospreay.
  • Southside Wrestling - Southside has a more urban flair to it, and it has run joint shows with Combat Zone Wrestling in the past.
  • IPW: United Kingdom - This company seems to be one of the larger ones in the UK, and it boasts an impressive roster of guest stars in addition to its native talent.
  • ATTACK Wrestling - ATTACK is Wales' premiere promotion, and it's best known for giving the world Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews.
  • Tidal Wrestling - Another premiere English indie, Tidal has booked some of the country's best native talent, male and female.
  • Westside Xtreme Wrestling - WXW is the most notable indie promotion on mainland Europe, and it's given the biggest platform to Germany's burgeoning indie wrestlers as well as some high-profile names from North America and the United Kingdom.
In addition to Progress Wrestling, those companies make up a formidable lineup of wrestling promotions that should keep folks supremely entertained two weeks from tonight. But if the names of the promotions don't tickle you, fear not. The match listings will be rolled out next week. Regardless, #RAWlternative Europe will be required viewing. The UK and Germany are scenes that are already bursting to the forefront with relevant and quality wrestlers, matches, and personalities. It's up to you to get on the train before it leaves the station.
