It's gotta be gabagool, capiche?

It's Twitter Request Line time, everyone! I take to Twitter to get questions about issues in wrestling, past and present, and answer them on here because 140 characters can't restrain me, fool! If you don't know already, follow me @tholzerman, and wait for the call on Wednesday to ask your questions. Hash-tag your questions #TweetBag, and look for the bag to drop Thursday afternoon (most of the time). Without further ado, here are your questions and my answers:

If you want peak, then nothing beats a good prosciutto. Among hams, it is king, but if you don't get a really good version of it, then you get a really funky tasting meat that will give all prosciuttos a bad name. If you want consistency across the board, then it's gotta be capicola (or gabagool if you're an East Coast Italian). Even cheap versions are still tasty and don't have the disgusting textural/slime factors that other deli meats can have (looking at you, turkey breast).

In keeping with traditions from the television show LOST, someone has to yell WE HAVE TO GO BACK at some point. Seriously though, I want to see Hallowicked lose the Grand Championship to UltraMantis Black. "Stolen belt" storylines are weak, especially if it's the hero stealing it. Being able to see Mantis accrue the three points and win the title, showing that he's fully returned from his injury, would be both satisfying from a story standpoint and a standpoint of seeing one of the pillars of Chikara returning to form in the ring.

I postulated a stable for Miz way back in 2014, back before all the hangers-on and faux tastemakers of Pro Wrestling Twitter declared he was the greatest ever. I HAVE MIZ BONA FIDES, GODDAMMIT, BELIEVE ME. However, two-thirds of the group probably doesn't fit now in their roles. So, I give you the new Miz Entourage:

  • The Miz (STAR)
  • Maryse (HIS STRONG YET SENSUAL BRIDE)
  • Tyler Breeze and Fandango (HIS SEXY SECURITY GUARDS)
  • Bo Dallas (LIFE COACH)
  • Veda Scott (NEW LEGAL COUNSEL, WOMEN'S DIVISION REPRESENTATIVE, EVENTUAL TENSION POINT WITH MARYSE)
  • Mojo Rawley (HIS PERSONAL HEAVY)
WWE is never gonna give Miz his own stable, because that would undermine his sneaky effectiveness at getting the other guy over by effacing himself, and someone with influence over other people can't do that. But he SCREAMS for an entourage more than anyone outside of Bray Wyatt.

Honestly, if I'm barbecuing something, it ain't gonna be chicken. Even doing legs and thighs, I'd rather go with the pork or beef. But if you do want to try a good recipe for barbecuing chicken, then look up spatch-cooking techniques on Food Network or other good culinary websites. Spatch-cooking, or cooking the chicken after butterflying the whole thing on the underside, lessens cooking time and allows more freedom seasoning the bird without having to resort to stuffing it or shoving a beer can up its rectal cavity. Plus you get that good char on the outside of more of the bird.

Sorry, trying to remove, trying to remove.

No, but only because 205 Live feels like it's not going to be around forever. I don't think the cruiserweight brand is going to be able to hold guys like Jack Gallagher or Cedric Alexander forever. Gallagher was already in the Royal Rumble on the strength of his taming of the WWE crowd. Where does Neville fit in this narrative though? Well, he's actually gotten over in front of two different mixed-weight WWE crowds. He was over in NXT, and even in limited exposure on the main roster, he was getting some of the best reactions. Go back and watch his two "open challenge" title shots vs. Seth Rollins. Not only does he get two of the best main-roster singles matches out of Rollins, but the crowd is into every nearfall he gets. So this sojourn in the cruiserweight division feels temporary, even if it inexplicably sticks around longer than another year.

The only reason my feelings about it are tempered is because I am WAY out of the loop on non-WWE stuff right now (and even on some WWE materials I'm behind, I still haven't seen the UK Tournament or Takeover: San Antonio yet). So obviously, I'm not in the fade when it comes to STARDOM right now. But of all the potential matches out there, any gender, Baszler/Shirai sounds like it would be the hardest hitting and most crowd-pleasing option available. So I'm not at your level, but I'm about as high for this match as I can be for possibly not even getting around to seeing it.
