This Friday, at AAW's Day of Defiance, the Berwyn Eagles Club in Berwyn, IL will see the return of one of the most aggro-intense mixed martial artists of all-time, the incomparable Mixed Martial Archie. While it seemed that Archibald Peck put that chapter of his life behind him when he was Backfisted to the Past by Eddie Kingston at Chikarasaurus Rex last year, all it took was a statement from Davey Richards that he kicked harder than the prize student of the Overcompensation Station Training Dojo to bring him back. Or maybe this is the point in time when that version of Marchie Archie came back to the present? My brain hurts. THANKS ROBERT NEWSOME. Anyway, Richards vs. MMA is the match that the latter character was born to have, and it's also pretty much the only Richards match that I would ever look forward to outside of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Kudos to AAW for pulling this off. Day of Defiance happens this Friday at the Eagles Club in Berwyn.
