Sunday is when the lion's share of big shows are happening this weekend. First, in Warner-Robins, GA at Johnny G.'s Fun Center, Rampage Pro will be doing another set of television tapings. They will be presenting a rematch from the Rampage Rumble card, with Kyle Matthews defending the Television Championship against Vordell Walker. The first match was fantastic, but it had quite the disappointing finish. This one will have to have a more decisive ending, and of course it'll be awesome. The TV Title is the last Championship that eludes the Black List stable. Tag Team Champions Kory Chavis and Murder One will be defending their straps against Drew Adler and Francisco Ciatso. Rampage Champion AJ Steele will also be on the show, and venue namesake and owner Doc Gayton will be returning.
One time zone over, in Austin, TX at the Mohawk, Anarchy Championship Wrestling will present An Absence of Law. After the events of Guilty by Association, the landscape of Anarchy has changed pretty severely. Rachel Summerlyn's gone, Jerry Lynn's retired, and the Submission Squad's most evil member, Evan Gelistico, now holds the top prize. No match has been announced for him, but perhaps the group's most jovial, agreeable member, Pierre Abernathy, will be going for gold of his own. He teams with Colt Cabana to attempt wresting the Tag Team Championships away from Jojo Bravo and Angel Blue. If that wasn't enough, Davey Vega will wrestle Jimmy Jacobs, and that one should be an absolute barnburner.
If you are in the Northeast, things aren't totally barren for you. If you can make it to New York City, there are two shows Saturday you can hit up. If you're in Brooklyn, head on over to the Ludus Wrestling School and check out Fighting Spirit Wrestling. If you're further along Long Island, namely in Deer Park at the Sportatorium, you can check out New York Wrestling Connection, featuring appearances by ULTIMATE HOSS Apollyon, Mikey Whipwreck, Big O, Trent?, Tony Nese, Jigsaw, Chuck Taylor, and Jerry Lynn's final East Coast match.
Of course, these aren't the only shows going on this weekend. There is wrestling going on nearly everywhere in America over the next three nights. Go, check out unfamiliar wrestlers or promotions, and help promote the art of wrestling. The indies are where that happens.
