Last night, WWE presented their thirteenth and fourteenth iterations of the Money in the Bank ladder match. Both were good in their own rights; the World Heavyweight Championship version was clearly better though and may have been the best of all-time. But for as much of an institution as it has become, it's still mind-blowing that it could very well have been a one-off thing if the chatter around it was correct. The original contract was rumored to be forgotten about for awhile, which might explain why it took nine months between Edge winning it and cashing it in on John Cena at New Year's Revolution. Thankfully, it caught on, because it's one of the best junk food offerings any wrestling company can provide. Apologies in advance for the copious amounts of He Who Shall Not Be Named in this match.
