Hey, it's the weekend, but this ain't crazy. Here are some wrestling cards, so go to them maybe. Or not maybe. Definitely check out some of these cards, because the weekend was MADE for wrestling. I'm gonna preview a good bit of shows up in this joint, from the Pacific Northwest all the way down to Florida's Gulf Coast, but I'm just gonna get you the tip of the iceberg. IF you want the full list of shows happening worldwide, check out Pro Wrestling Events. They won't preview shows like I am, but sometimes, you just gotta take a leap of faith. But if you're in an area where one of the below shows are happening, get your butt out there and support pro graps!

Friday

This weekend takes us first to Berwyn, IL to the Eagles Club for AAW's Reign of Violence. The doors open at 7PM local for this loaded card. This show has two pretty big main events going on for it. First up, the AAW Championship will be on the line in what should be an explosively hard-hitting match between Champion Shane Hollister and challenger Juntai Miller. The second main event will be a doozy, as Eddie Kingston will battle AAW/Midwest mainstay Silas Young in a grudge match. I wouldn't be surprised to see some teeth get rattled in that contest. ACH will be there defending the Heritage Championship against Kyle O'Reilly, and in another grudge match, the Irish Airborne will go up against Arik Cannon and Jimmy Jacobs. Also appearing will be Marion Fontaine, Heidi Lovelace, Louis Lyndon, Michael Elgin, Davey Richards, and Mat Fitchett.

SHINE will present their 12th installment tonight at the Orpheum in Ybor City, FL with a 9PM EDT bell time. If you're not there live, you can always hit up WWN Live for their Internet pay-per-view broadcast. The main event features Champion Rain awaiting the challenge of the winner of a three-way contender's match earlier in the show. Jessicka Havok, Ivelisse Velez, and Mia Yim will clash for the right to challenge Rain for her Championship. Also on the show, Portugal's Perfect Athlete Shanna makes her SHINE debut against Angelina Love, Amazing Kong will throw hands with Mercedes Martinez, and Leva Bates welcomes the challenge of Christina von Eerie. Also appearing will be Kimber Lee, Santana Garrett, Su Yung, and Nikki Roxx.

Saturday

Saturday's big event is bittersweet. Connecticut Wrestling Entertainment will be closing its doors for good tomorrow with their Fifth Anniversary Show: #CTWEFarewell. Doors open at the Amity Regional Middle School in Bethany, CT at 6:15PM. Both singles Championships will be defended in five-way matches. The main event sees Lukas Sharp defending the CTWE Championship against Pinkie Sanchez, "Slyck" Wagner Brown, Chris Battle, and a mystery fifth man, while AJ Cruise will put the Shooting Star Championship up against Mikey Chase, Mikey Webb, Anthony Stone, and Anthony Greene. Also on the show, Eddie Edwards tangles with Johnny Gargano, Ricky Reyes goes up against Michael Elgin, and in a former WWE superstar three way, Antonio Thomas, Derrick Bateman, and Mike Mondo will all go one fall to a finish. Also appearing on this show will be Kevin Nash, Rhino, Homicide, Tremendous Investigations, and Bandido, Jr.

Wrestling Is Fun! will be on iPPV tomorrow night with Cruel Summer. If you're watching remote, tune in at 7PM for the action. If you're going live, the doors at the Easton Funplex (Charles Chrin Community Center of Palmer, formally) open at 6:30PM. The main event features the reigning and defending Wrestling Is Fun Banana Champion Amasis defending against Oleg the Usurper. I'm not sure how close Amasis was to Oleg's recent decapitation victim, Dragon Dragon, but the crowd should be worked up in a lather for that match. The Throwbacks will EXPLODE here as Mark Angelosetti and Dasher Hatfield will look to squash their beef and show some tough love to each other. Also on the show, the Spectral Envoy will be in tag action against the Devastation Corporation, Portia Perez heads into town to take on Heidi Lovelace, and Frightmare will look to steal the show with Jaka. The Baltic Siege will clash with the Batiri in trios action, while their other former Soviet counterparts, the reigning 24/7 Champion Proletarian Boar of Moldova and Mr. Azerbaijan, will tackle Fire Ant and Green Ant from the Colony. Finally, 3.0 takes on Los Ice Creams in tag action, while the high-flying Shenron will clash with Juan Francisco de Coronado.

International Wrestling Cartel is live in Elizabeth, PA tomorrow at the Court Time Sports Center with Caged Fury '13. The special bell time is at 7PM local, and in the main event, John McChesney will defend the IWC Championship against Dalton Castle. IN the Super Indy Championship match, Facade puts up his newly won title against the former Champion, Tony Nese. Logan Shulo will go one on one against Shane Strickland. Also appearing on the card will be Colin Delaney, Bobby Fish, Chest Flexor, and Zema Ion.

Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling will bring us Three Stages of Hell Saturday at the Russian Community Center of Vancouver, BC. The show starts at 8PM local time, and the main event will be the titular match, with first portion being falls count anywhere, the second being a tables match, and the third fall, if needed happening with last man standing rules. The Stallions of Tony Baroni and Artemis Spencer will do battle with the Gentlemen of Distinct Superiority, Bishop and Sid Sylum, with the winners getting a shot at the Bollywood Boyz's ECCW Tag Team Championships. In a match that I feel is just as huge, even without the stipulations, Nicole Matthews will get her shot at the ECCW Championship when she faces El Phantasmo. Also, Alexis Plexis, KC Spinelli, Andy "Dreadful" Bird, Azeem the Dream, "Ravenous" Randy Myers, and Jamie Diaz will compete in a three-show mini tournament to decide a contender to the ECCW Championship in the cage in November, starting here.

Anarchy Wrestling will be rocking Cornelia, GA for another round of television tapings at 8PM at the Anarchy Arena. The main event features Geter defending his Anarchy Championship against Mikael Judas (aka Murphy of TNA fame). Also on the show, Caprice Coleman returns to his hold stomping grounds to take on Mike Posey. Also in action on this show will be Shaun Tempers, the Washington Bullets, Vandal, and Corey Hollis.

Sunday

Wrestling Is Cool returns to the Proving Grounds in Deptford, NJ Sunday for an iPPV event. Endless Winter begins at 3PM EDT, but if you're going live, like I am, then the doors open at 2:30PM. On this show, the Osirian Portal will reunite for the first time under the Wrestling Is/Chikara auspices to battle Mark Andrews and Pete Dunne, who are coming all the way from England for this tag team exhibition. The Brits come with high marks from WRESTLEGASM sidekick Andrew Southern, so you know I'm excited to see 'em live. Eddie Kingston may destroy a few fans en route to trying to end Frightmare. While the size difference might be drastic, I wouldn't count out the frenetic ball of kinetic energy from the Spectral Envoy. Ants collide as the Colony Original Formula team of assailANT and Green Ant battle the Xtreme Force tandem of Arctic Rescue Ant and Missile Assault Ant. Eric Corvis returns to face off against Juan Francisco de Coronado, Drew Gulak will try to best the Estonian Thunder Frog, Chuck Taylor will greet the Lithuanian Snow Troll in battle, and Shenron tangles with Mark Angelosetti. And hopefully, I won't sweat any one of my body parts off like I did last time!

Finally, IWC will invade West Virginia for some Mountain State Madness Sunday at the Wells School Building in Newell. The special bell time is 1PM. If Tony Nese wins the Super Indy Championship, he will be defending against Logan Shulo in what should be a competitive affair. Also on the show, Sassy Stephie goes up against fellow Midwestern stalwart, Neveah. Also appearing on this show will be Colin Delaney, Dalton Castle, John McChesney, Bobby Fish, and Facade.

So many awesome wrestling shows are happening this weekend, and some of them may even be in your neighborhood. Even if you're agoraphobic and don't want to venture out into the world, at least three shows are going to be broadcast live in iPPV. If you do want to go out and watch shows, not only are all the above happening, but your favorite wrestling promotion may be out there, and you just don't know it yet. Take a chance, and help grow the art of wrestling by supporting your local shows. Because hey, they may not be around forever. Just look at CTWE.
