Once upon a time, Antonio Cesaro was called Claudio Castagnoli. Daniel Bryan was named Bryan Danielson. Luke Harper was Brodie Lee. And Dave Taylor was still Dave Taylor. He was always Dave Taylor. Castagnoli, Danielson, and Taylor comprised Team Uppercut at Chikara's King of Trios '09. Across the ring from them were Lee, Eddie Kingston, and Grizzly Redwood, or The Roughnecks. Castagnoli got into the ring, hossed around Redwood, and then gave him the Giant Swing, not dissimilar to the one he gave Santino Marella Monday on RAW. The number of rotations on that swing? One. Hundred. I don't mean to be a Claudio hipster here, or be that kind of guy who shits on WWE at the benefit of the indies. Truth be told, both were impressive. But you gotta know your roots. I'm also not sure Redwood was the same after this century swing around the ring.
