Dusty Rhodes has made so many one-off appearances where he either was a prop for a comedic segment ("I have weird kids!") or where he was doing heel stuff as a shocking swerve. Folks who only know him as the folksy, lisping announcer from WCW, or even just as Cody Rhodes' daddy didn't get a glimpse of how good a good guy he can be until last night. Such fire, such pathos! Of course, any Dust is good Dust from where I sit. I don't want him to wear out his welcome, but if we can see him more than once a year on the main show, daddy, then I'll ride my bithycle all da way to da pay winduh right heeyah on da muddaship. Err, I mean, I'd be a pretty happy camper. If you will. Weeeeellllll.
