Squared Circle Wrestling will be going on a winter break after their Internet pay-per-view broadcast in Binghamton, NY on November 23. The upstate New York company has been running non-stop for the last eight years, but they have assured fans they will be back in the spring for Living on the Edge and their 100th show. They did not announce whether the break will be for financial reasons or whether it will just provide a chance for roster members and administrators to take a break and recharge batteries or take bookings on a broader scope.
Either way, this winter will essentially be an offseason for 2CW. I think more wrestling companies ought to take breaks, although I feel they would benefit companies on a larger scale like WWE. Still, 2CW has gotten to the pinnacle where they're a nationally-recognized promotion. When they come back, fans both in New York as well as around the country will be awaiting them with baited breath.
