Adam Jacobi of Black Heart, Gold Pants and SB Nation stops by the podcast this week. We start out discussing the aftermath from Night of Champions and whether or not the progression in the Daniel Bryan story came at the right time. Adam compares the pace to the one in the Steve Austin/Vince McMahon feud. We get into the pressures of live television in the wake of some verbal flubs. Dusty Rhodes gets a hefty dose of appreciation, and we throw some analysis towards Paul Heyman, specifically why guys who are good on the stick like CM Punk and Ryback are paired with him. We appreciate Big E Langston, Sami Zayn, and Antonio Cesaro before getting into some college football talk.
Adam talks about the Iowa/Iowa State rivalry and how it means more to the Cyclones than it does the Hawkeyes. We also get pretty in depth about Nebraska and Bo Pelini's current problems. We discuss how Pelini's 4 losses a year don't cut muster in Lincoln in the wake of a proud football tradition, and Adam runs down why the state of Nebraska football has atrophied. Finally, we take some questions from Twitter, most of which had to do with horses.
