Hey, Thanksgiving comes at us in less than a week. I am thankful for my job, my family, and of course, the copious amounts of wrestling that happen every weekend around the globe. Starting tonight, you, yes, you can probably to a show within driving distance of your place of habitation. You can find out all the shows going on this weekend by going to Pro Wrestling Events. However, for the skinny on the most prominent shows this weekend, check the deets below:

FRIDAY

Squared Circle Wrestling kicks off its monstrous finale weekend of 2013 with 2CW-a-Thon in Watertown, NY. Head to Exhibition Hall when the doors open at 6:30 PM for an action packed card headlined by a huge 2CW Championship match, where Isys Ephex defends his title against Jason Axe. Women's action invades the Hall as Jessicka Havok will battle Your Soul's Tormentor, MsChif in a match that could headline most cards around the country. Speaking of main event level matches, Johnny Gargano will lead his home-state compatriots the Brothers Crist against the Canadian-Californian connection of the Young Bucks and Kevin Steen. In a special attraction, Rhyno will take on Michael Elgin. Also appearing on this loaded show will be AR Fox, Dalton Castle, Tommy Dreamer, Colin Delaney, Cheech Hernandez, Eddie "Eddie Edwards" Edwards, and Roderick Strong.

Premiere Wrestling Xperience will hold the next two stops on the Chris Hero Comes Home tour, first with Climb the Ladder at the Hickory Metro Center in Hickory, NC at 8 PM local time. In addition to Hero competing, the Tag Team Championships will be defended in a ladder match as Champions of Eli Evans and Ethan Case, the Worst Case Scenario, defend against Los Ben Dejos, Jay Cruz and Jay Rios. Tony Nese will stop by to take on Cedric Alexander in the "Dream Match Series." Trust me, this match definitely lives up to its moniker. Also appearing on the show will be Caleb Konley and the "Manscout" Jake Manning.

SATURDAY

2CW returns Saturday night with their second ever Internet Free-for-View, which you can view here at 7 PM Eastern Standard Time. If you're planning on getting there live, the doors at the American Legion Post 80 in Binghamton, NY, open at the extra early time of 4 PM, with a pre-show beginning at 6:30 PM. Should Isys Ephex successfully retain his 2CW Championship, he will put it on the line against Colin Delaney in the main event. If Jason Axe wins the strap, he will defend it against Johnny Gargano in a 30 minute Iron Man match. The matches I imagine most people will get hype about are the women's attraction match and a massively epic tag team battle. In the former, Mickie James heads back to 2CW, this time to battle Jessicka Havok. The latter match will pit the Dojo Bros of Eddie "Eddie Edwards" Edwards and Roderick Strong against the Young Bucks. Michael Elgin will collide with AR Fox as well. Also appearing on the show will be Adam Pearce, Kevin Steen, Cheech Hernandez, Gregory Iron, Dalton Castle, and the Crist Brothers.

The final Wrestling Is Fun! event of 2013, Peel Slowly and You Will See, happens at the Goodwill Fire Association in Reading, PA, aka the arena where Mima Shimoda spat right on the floor, with a door-open time of 6:30 PM. The main event will pit Mark Angelosetti and Dasher Hatfield, the Throwbacks, against Max Smashmaster and Blaster McMassive of the Devastation Corporation. That match oughtta be a slobberknocker. Juan Francisco de Coronado and Shynron will tangle for a fourth and final time, as Coronado looks to shake the upstart young firebrand. Even though he's defeated the Dragon Spirit twice already, he still feels the need to put him down. Will Shynron rise to the occasion? He may have a chance since Coronado will be without his now-fired manservant Herbert. In one epic showdown, the Baltic Siege will look to start winning the war against the Polar Baron's Union in trios action. Fire Ant tackles Kobald, while Kodama will joust with Lance Steel. Frightmare will tangle with El Hijo del Ice Cream, while the card will be capped off with Princess Kimber Lee attempting to defend her kingdom against the rogue invading Canadian threat known as Portia Perez.

The Vanier Columbus Club in Ottawa, ON will play host to Triumph, Capital City Championship Combat's sixth anniversary event. Doors will open at 7:30 PM local time, and alcohol will be served. In the main event, Hacker Scotty O'Shea will defend his C4 Championship against Dirty Buxx Belmar. Player Uno will take to singles competition as he welcomes Ethan Page in battle. Also appearing on the show will be Giant Tiger, Stupefied/Stu Grayson/Player Dos, Vanessa Kraven, Jewells Malone, Tabarnak de Team, and Sexxxy Eddy.

The members of On Point Wrestling will Fight 2 Survive tomorrow night at the OTW Arena in Williamstown, NJ. The show starts at 7 PM local time, and it will feature Matt Tremont, Pinkie Sanchez, Shane Strickland, Chris Dickinson, Rory Mondo, Latin Dragon, and so many more superstars.

PWX will also hit up the Internet waves, although you'll have to pay for this show via Highspots at 8 PM Eastern Standard Time. If you're planning on going to the Whatever Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger III, you'll want to head to the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center in Concord, NC at 7 PM when the doors open. Chris Hero will also be wrestling on this show, but the main event is another ladder match. This time, the PWX Championship will be up for grabs as Caleb Konley (or Alex Reynolds) will defend against Cedric Alexander, Corey Hollis, and Adam Page. Tony Nese will also stick around to take on Rich Swann, while Leva Bates will take on Su Yung. "Manscout" Jake Manning also will be wrestling on this show.

Anarchy Wrestling will film another set of television tapings at the Anarchy Arena in Cornelia, GA, bell time at 8 PM local. Mikael Judas will defend the Anarchy Championship against Se7en, while the Washington Bullets, Shaun Tempers, Rudy Boy Gonzalez, Mike Posey, and "Hit for Hire" Bobby Moore will all be in attendance.

SUNDAY

Wrestling Is Respect's final 2013 card takes place at the Elks Lodge in Boonton, NJ Sunday. When the doors open at 3:30 PM, you'll get the chance to see an action-packed card topped with mystery tag partner action. Drew Gulak will bring a secret partner to continue his feud with Green Ant and his mystery backer in a match that promises to be hard-hitting. Speaking of stiff encounters, Gran Akuma and Chris Dickinson will face off in one-on-one action, while The Shard looks to take out some of his frustrations on Frightmare. Jessie "Bonesaw" Brooks makes her Wrestling Is... debut against Veda Scott, while Gentlemania will look to tread lightly all over the Weird One himself as Jervis Cottonbelly will duel with Delirious.

The Addison Community Center in Addison, IL will play host to Vanguard Wrestling All-Star Alliance's Manifest Destiny VI at 4 PM local time. The semifinals and finals of the VWAA Championship tournament will take place and a new Champion will be crowned, as Reed Bentley, Matt Cage, Prince Mustafa Ali, and Thomas Sinclair all vie for the chance to hold gold. Tripp Cassidy, The Submission Squad, and Angelus Layne will also appear at this event.

Wrestling is an art, a thriving one at that that happens nearly every day around the world. No matter the venue, the wrestlers, or the trappings, shows need your support in order for more to happen and for the art to grow. Take a stab in the dark and check out the shows near you this weekend. You never know, your favorite wrestler or promotion may be out there. You just haven't discovered them yet.
