The Sounding Board: Who'd Be Wrestling's Pope?

Who's the pope? Is it the actual Black Pope?

This week's Sounding Board is topical! The Catholic Church elected a new pope yesterday, but really, the important question to ask is how can I tie that into wrestling? The answer is obvious, even if it's a bit uncreative. I pose to you, readers and commenters of The Wrestling Blog, who would be the best analogue in wrestling to the supreme pontiff? Would it be Vince McMahon? He is the tastemaker for the largest sect of wrestling, even if there are schismatics left and right who curse his name and establish their own authority (the biggest difference is unlike the pope, he wears his evil on his sleeve). Or is it someone of a more benevolent, universal nature? Dusty Rhodes? Roddy Piper? Shawn Michaels? ELIJAH BURKE/D'ANGELO DINERO? Leave your answers in the comments!
