Ring of Honor will be making their return to Philadelphia for the first time since their Homecoming show last January. This time, it'll be for Death before Dishonor weekend. Friday, September 20th, will be the DbD XI i-pay-per-view event, while the next night will host television tapings. The event will take place at the same location as Homecoming as well as National Pro Wrestling Day, the National Guard Armory in the far Northeast. Personally, I'm a huge fan of this arena. It looks nice, it's spacious, and it's a great room to watch the rasslin'.
Now that we know this building can host iPPV, hopefully ROH won't be a stranger to Philly. I know, I know, I'm a whiner and all, but since the Arena closed, man, the only promotion that even thinks about running here on a regular basis is Combat Zone Wrestling. I'm slowly getting into CZW, but I miss the days when ROH would be here once a month for TV tapings. I'm not saying I want them to spam appearances in Philly again. I'm just saying, the city was their home for what, eight years? It'd be nice if they stopped by more than once a year now.
