Beyond Wrestling has lain low for the last year, mostly because Drew Cordeiro has spent a lot of time with his acquisition and stabilization of Women's Superstars Uncensored. While WSU needed the attention, Beyond was never too far off the radar. Some of it was also bad luck. The weekend that they were set to run Tournament for Tomorrow II, a massive winter storm hampered traffic and kept many of the competitors off the card. However, the promotion has kept itself in the hearts and minds of wrestling fans all over the Northeast and Ohio by having feature matches on various promotions' shows (WSU, Absolute Intense Wrestling, and Combat Zone Wrestling to name three).

Well, now is the time when they roar back, and they'll be doing so with a fan-friendly tone. We Care a Lot will be a "Name Your Own Price" for admission event taking place tomorrow night, Friday, June 14th, at the Bridgewater Knights of Columbus Hall in Bridgewater, MA. The doors will open at 8 PM local time, and any donation to the company will get you in the door. Whether you want to pay as little as a penny or as much as your entire life savings, you can get in to watch great pro wrestling.

Obviously, the impulse here is to be frugal as possible. That's fine, but it's the big donations that are going to ensure that the company can survive in the future. In order to entice larger entrance offerings, there will be a special, three-match pre-show at 7 PM for those who pay $20 or more to get in. I think that's a pretty good bonus for a pretty neat looking card on the onset.

The show will be headlined by Chris Dickinson taking on Biff Busick. Busick recently turned some heads in the JT Lightning Invitational Tournament in addition to being one of the regulars within the Wrestling Is promotions, while Dickinson himself made a splash in the Cleveland-based AIW. They are two of Beyond's most recognizable cultivated talents, and this is a first time match. Given the pedigrees of the two wrestlers involved, it will surely be one stiff main event.

The show is also notable for seeing the return of Charade, who infamously broke his neck on a double-rotation moonsault last fall in a Beyond ring. Personally, I'm super stoked to see him back in action, because that was a nasty accidental bump he took. It takes a lot of determination and hard work to get back at all, let alone in the relatively short amount of time that he's come back. He'll be in a WWA4 four-way match with fellow academy graduates Black Baron, Ric King, and the incomparable AR Fox.

Also appearing on the show will be the reigning and defending Ring of Honor Television Champion Matt Taven, Anthony Stone, Jaka, Eric Corvis, Dan Barry, Sugar Dunkerton, Aaron Epic, Latin Dragon, Johnny Cockstrong, and Pinkie Sanchez. This is going to be a solid lineup, and Beyond Wrestling is often known for pushing the boundaries and innovating on the fly. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if wrestlers who maybe aren't even known to the more intensive indie wrestling community might break out on this show. While Americanrana next month has all the huge names, there isn't an ensemble in wrestling that I feel works harder than the one that Cordeiro collates each and every single time he promotes a show under the Beyond banner.

And of course, it wouldn't be a Beyond event without top shelf catering, done by Cordeiro and his mother themselves. They elevate the idea of concession food at a live event, wrestling or otherwise, to levels that would impress even the most fickle of Food Network travel show types. I have it on good authority that there will be a summer favorite on the menu, tortellini pasta salad. Whatever will be joining that summer cookout accoutrement will be delicious and reasonably priced as well.

It's not every day that a hungry roster puts on a show that you can pay whatever you want for admission with the best food you'll find at any wrestling event happens. Luckily for anyone within southern New England or for those who want to road trip out for the event, one such show is happening tomorrow night. Whatever you pay, try to be there if you can.
